Not quite the width of head of 1st but round dark expressive eyes and good nose pad. Moved quite well but not matching the animation of the winner today. |

| 1st Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Extra Champ Show STCSWWC | Mrs J Clifford | 10 months gold and white. This young lady is certainly full of attitude. Moves very soundly with style. Prettiest of expressions, large dark eyes. Good neck and lay back of shoulder. Level topline. Shown in lots of coat in very good condition. Well presented and handled, should have a bright future. |
| 1st Puppy Bitch | 2025 | STC Summer Open Show | Mr K Baldwin | 10 months old, gold and white, most attractive head with large round dark expressive eyes and good nose placement, undershot bite, neck nicely arched, sound well-proportioned frame, level back and high set tail, matching front and rear quarters with good bone, in immaculate coat and condition, lovely smooth flowing movement. |
| Best Puppy 1st Novice Bitch 1st Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Extra Champ Show Manchu STC | Mr M Russell | BPB and BPIS who I was later told is the daughter of my Best Puppy In Breed winner the last time I judged. Very much like her mother. Beautiful, feminine bitch of a lovely shape and size with great substance throughout. Pretty head and expression carried on a strong neck with well laid shoulders. Moved well and presented in lovely coat. |
| 2nd Puppy Bitch 2nd Minor Puppy Bitch | 2025 | City of Birmingham | Mr S Hall | A nice bitch that needs time and better handling to gain advantage as I think she is worth the effort, came together in the next class with twice as many dogs in it, so you see she was worth it, presented in good clean condition. |
| Best Puppy 1st Minor Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Leeds | Mr A Stewart | 7 months, Gold and White. BP. I just loved this pretty girl’s head and expression, just divine! lovely dark round eyes, tilted nose, squarish short muzzle with definite stop. She has a good firm topline, high set tail and plume over her back. She has a deep chest with well sprung ribs. Sound front and a tidy rear end. She stormed around the ring; confidently and with ease. Beautifully presented coat. Well handled and nicely schooled. Very promising. |
| 1st Minor Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Boston & District CS | Ms J Kay | At just 6months, she is a lovely shape, sturdy and friendly. Her head was typical, developing with enough width between eyes, with hair growing well in the correct places. Her muzzle had a nice length with a wide mouth. Her underjaw was wide and slightly undershot. All very positive at this stage. Her topline was firm enough without being overdone, ribs had sufficient spring for her age. To finish, her coat was in honest condition for her age. |
| 1st Minor Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Windsor | Mr T Moran | What a little darling this gold & white puppy is – just over 6 months old but full of confidence. Lovely head and typical expression. Excellent eye and nose placement. Strong pigmentation, good mouth and chin. Lovely balance with good top-line and tail-set. Excellent temperament. Well-schooled and moved well with confidence. Adorable temperament. |
| 1st Puppy Bitch | 2025 | Shih Tzu Club | Mr G Robertson | Gold and white bitch, feminine head, lovely expression, I liked her lovely dark expressive eyes, wide open nostrils, ears are set well back but her frame is low slung, nicely made front to her, moderate neck, good ribs for her age, could have a little bit more width in rear quarters and her tail a little bit flat but she is sound and has good balance and proportions to her, will improve with time. |
