| Best of Breed, DCC, 1st LD | 2026 | Scottish KC (All Breeds) | Ms G Marley | 2 year old gold and white boy who caught my eye as soon as he came into the ring. He the correct size and shape. He is balanced in all departments. On examination he has a lovely head and expression. His head is broad, his dark eyes are correctly placed with good width, he has a good stop, correct nose placement with wide nostrils, good mouth. He has just the right amount of bone and plenty of substance with good front assembly, good ribbing and correct high tail set. His movement was sound both ways and he showed plenty of pad. His coat was a good length and well presented. Very pleased to award him CC and BOB I was told it was his all important 3rd CC well done. |

Showing the sweetest of expressions, aided by a large, dark, round eye and tip tilted nose giving that true Shih Tzu expression. Good depth and width of chest, correct body length, and well balanced throughout. A lovely example of the breed. Reserve CC and RBIS |

| Best in Show, DCC, 1st LD | 2026 | Shih Tzu Club | Mrs A Pickburn | Hin Chens Mount Everest (Imp Norway) headed a strong class where several dogs pushed the winner hard. However, I felt he stood out, a very correctly sized dog, nothing extreme about him, his head and expression are so typical of what the breed should look like, good dark eyes and good mouth. Well placed shoulders level topline. He is well bodied, not high on the leg but moves soundly and with drive. Presented in full coat. Overall, its his balance that caught my eye and in the challenge he out moved his opposition. DCC and ultimately BIS. Good luck for his third CC. |
| 2nd Limit Dog | 2026 | Manchester | Mr T Allcock | 20th months. Another super young dog with more to come and close up on the class winner. When standing he produces a super outline which is maintained on the move and at all times. Super to examine. His head is masculine and kind, beautifully proportioned and contains stunning dark eyes. Well placed neck and shoulders. Body is well ribbed and top line secure and strong. Correct high set tail carried well. Moves with reach and drive. |
| 1st Yearling Dog | 2025 | LKA | Mrs P Maule | Very smart 19 months G/W. Scores in head properties, soft yet masculine expression, dark eye, ex pigment. So well balanced, level topline, head proudly carried on strong neck, in perfect unison with correctly set on teapot tail. Moves with forward reach and drives from well muscled hindquarters showing full pads. In full coat expertly prepared. |
| Dog CC, 1st GD | 2025 | BUBA | Miss D McIntyre | 18 months old G/W boy. A very correct Shih Tzu. He stands out in outline, catching the eye on first look around. A classic shape both standing and on the move. I loved going over this boy from a beautiful round head with lovely expression, his eyes keep you engaged, round dark and warm. His neck, topline and tail set and carriage are correct and strong points. A lovely round rib that is well ribbed back. Low to the ground yet displaying the reach and drive I was hoping for. Unexaggerated correct movement. DCC |
| Dog RCC, 1st JD | 2025 | Extra Champ Show STCSWWC | Mrs J Clifford | 16 months gold and white. I have watched him from the ringside and saw a lot of promise. He certainly didn’t disappoint when hands on. A fabulous headpiece, biggest melting dark eyes. Correct nose placement giving a lovely warm expression. Great dentition. He has a lovely arched neck and correct layback of shoulder. Holds a really good shape, on the move and standing. He is definitely one from the top drawer, with I’m sure a good future before him. | 1st Graduate Dog | 2025 | Extra Champ Show NCSTC | Ms L Dunhill | |
| 2nd Junior Dog | 2025 | Midland Counties | Miss A Ingram | Very nice head with broad skull, wide underjaw and dark expressive eyes. Well proportioned body with good bone, level topline and strong hindquarters, just tends to drop his head a little on the move which detracts from the overall impression. |
| 1st Graduate Dog 2nd Junior Dog | 2025 | STC Summer Open Show | Mr K Baldwin | 17 months old gold and white, very attractive head and expression just requires more furnishing, dark round eyes, correct bite, arched neck into sturdy body, well angulated quarters and full length coat, moves out soundly with pads visible, shown well. |

Masculine face, large dark eyes, correct tilted nose, wide mouth and chin all giving an arrogant expression. His neck is a fair length and leads to well laid shoulders. His topline is level and tail is high set; he carries his big plume nicely over his back. His chest is wide and has super ribs. His rear is correctly angulated and firm with quality muscle tone. His beautifully presented coat was the right texture and has sufficient undercoat to it. He moves so sound in all directions, showing full hind pads. Unfortunately, in the challenge his mind was elsewhere and missed out on going any further. A quality dog that is easily CC worthy. |
| 1st Junior Dog | 2025 | Boston & District CS | Ms J Kay | Masculine head with arrogant expression. His mouth was wide and slightly undershot, and plenty of room for his perfectly straight teeth; he had enough length of muzzle and upturned nose. His shoulders were strongly laid and a well-filled chest with depth of ribs. He had ample bone throughout, his tail was set high and carried gaily over his back, on the move, he showed good pad, and in profile, he showed off his reach and drive. I liked his muscle tone and his coat texture. |

| 3rd Puppy Dog | 2025 | Crufts | Miss S Bird | 10 mth G/W who is also showing so much promise. His abundant coat can make him look a little long, but underneath, he has the correct proportions. Another with a beautiful head and he has a perfect mouth. Good neck, front and bone. Good topline and tailset, just needs to gain confidence on the move and he will surely push for top honours. |
| Dog RCC, 1st JD | 2025 | Shih Tzu Club | Mr G Robertson | Very balanced headpiece, good width to his muzzle, slightly tilted nose, round skull with definite stop, dark expressive eyes, correct length of neck, I liked his proportions, low slung, still to develop in rib but ribs are of good length and have some depth to them, good bone, nicely made front with compact feet, firm top-line, correct high set gay tail, well angled rear with good buttocks, on the move he holds his shape, has some arrogance to him, dense quality coat, really liked his type and his balance, RDCC and I’m sure is a future Ch in the breed. |

He is in profuse coat, sturdy with broad chest well let down, ample bone and well-rounded in ribcage and well ribbed back. Tail well set and carried; however, I would prefer him a shade shorter in body. He has good angulations fore and aft and moved soundly showing full pad. Moved at a good pace. He is a lovely type and was presented and handled well. Best Puppy. |
