In this highly competitive class, he stood out as the complete package. Masculine yet refined, with an imposing but elegant deportment which immediately commands attention. He has ample leg length to support his balance and carriage, which he maintained effortlessly on the move, displaying accuracy, drive, and undeniable style. Having now had the opportunity to assess him, it is clear why he is a multi-titled Champion, and a most deserving winner of the DCC and BOB on the day. |

| Best in Show, 1st OD | 2025 | STC Summer Open Show | Mr K Baldwin | 5 years old dark gold and white, I was instantly pleased with this dog as he is quite eye-catching, friendly with a hint of arrogance and this was reflected in his particularly good movement and deportment, lovely head and expression, nicely arched neck and good forehand with a broad chest and ample bone, high set well carried tail, good quality coat, balanced front and rear quarters, moved with good forward reach and with drive from the rear, pads visible going away. His outline is breathtaking, and he has the most wonderful head and expression. All male and with real substance under his perfectly presented coat. On the move he has such style, perfect carriage and footfall. He is a real credit to the breed. Absolutely no denying him the CC today and he lost out to BOB by a whisker. I felt they made a wonderful pair. |

I cannot improve on my last critique from 2022, but I am so please that he has done so well in the UK and Europe. Pleased to award him the Dog RCC today. |

| Dog RCC, 2nd OD | 2024 | South Wales | Miss J Kitchener | These two super dogs was just what I was waiting for, both very much my ideal of the male Shih Tzu, the winner having a totally correct mouth and bite and just being a shade better in front, although I did prefer the eye of 2. Loved them both on the move for their super drive, reach and carriage, superior attitude and super shape, both have great balance, gorgeous large heads, dark expressive eyes, clean arched necklines and strong level toplines. Also, strong bone, wide loins and great tea pot tails, both well muscled, sturdy and superb movers in all directions. Carrying mature coats, beautifully put down, I had to nit pick to separate them, two superb examples of the breed. So pleased to see BOB go on to Group 3 in good competition. Congratulations. |

Proud head carriage. He floats around the ring with great presence & style. Would not change anything about his conformation, movement, or character. CC & BOB. |

Beautifully presented and handled. My Dog CC winner which was his crowning 3rd, a very worthy champion. |

So much to like about him, beautifully presented and well handled, he has a bright future ahead, was pleased to award him Best Dog & BIS. |

Takes the eye the moment he enters the ring, always looks “just right” in profile and moves at correct pace with front extension and drive from well muscled hindquarters showing full pads. Profuse coat of correct texture, beautifully presented. |

As with No.1 this boy must enjoy regular exercise as he is well made firm body on top of good construction. His front is similar to no.1. A lovely head with open soft expression, good dentition. A good mover, although I have seen him move better. He is a little taller than No 1 although not outside the standard. He missed out on movement as no 1 was on top form. I feel top honours will come for both of these young boys. |
