| May I thank the Officers and Committee of SKC for this Shih Tzu breed appointment. Since I last judged I noticed in this entry today that mouths have greatly improved. Once thing that does concern me is many of the exhibits had great big coats but there was nothing underneath and many of them, I felt needed more body. Movement is another worry. There were not many that showed strong rear action showing full pads this reflected in my placements. |
| Minor Puppy Dog | ||
| 1st | Schnaubern Sean Dillon At Daltricia | 8 month pale gold and white who was a lovely size and was balanced in outline. He had a lovely head and expression with large dark eyes, correct ear set, correct bite, He has a nicely arched neck and good ribbing enough bone, correct tail set. He moved soundly both ways with a good topline. His coat was very well presented. BPD |
| 2nd | Yazhi Aladdin Sane At Warathwaite | Dark gold and white young boy who was very heavily coated. He has dark eyes and good nose placement with correct bite. He has enough bone and substance. Again, his coat was very well presented just preferred the head and expression of the class winner. |

He had a lovely head and expression with large dark eyes, correct ear set, correct bite, He has a nicely arched neck and good ribbing enough bone, correct tail set. | 2nd | Keola On The Road Again | 12 months today he was a taller boy than I prefer. He has a pleasing head and expression, with a broad skull, nicely arched neck, well bodied. I felt his tail was a bit flat. He has a big coat which was very well presented. Not the rear movement of my class winner. |

| 1st | Warathwaite Hear Me Roar | A dark gold boy who was not so confident on the table today. His head proportions are ok with a good nose placement and open nostrils. He has enough neck and good bone and body. His tail set was good. He has very sound rear movement. This boy was not happy today but he is well made throughout without being flashy. |

| 1st | Norboo Bobby Dazzler Of Mapimakastar JW | This 21 month old male, dark gold with black mask. He has large dark eyes, enough neck, needs more body, his tail was a bit flat. He needs time to mature in both body and coat. Moved ok. |

| 1st | Thaisu Hot Topic At Marbo | This was a difficult class to judge. This pale gold and white has a lovely outline when stood. He has a pleasing head with dark eyes and good ear placement, correct nose placement, enough neck, good topline. He had a lovely quality coat which as well presented. Moved ok. |

| 1st | Ch. Hin Chen’s Mount Everest JW | 2 year old gold and white boy who caught my eye as soon as he came into the ring. He the correct size and shape. He is balanced in all departments. On examination he has a lovely head and expression. His head is broad, his dark eyes are correctly placed with good width, he has a good stop, correct nose placement with wide nostrils, good mouth. He has just the right amount of bone and plenty of substance with good front assembly, good ribbing and correct high tail set. His movement was sound both ways and he showed plenty of pad. His coat was a good length and well presented. Very pleased to award him CC and BOB I was told it was his all important 3rd CC well done. |
| 2nd | Chanikos My Mystery Dream Via Javerda JW | Another male who had a good outline when stood. He has a pleasing head and expression with the darkest of eyes, well set ears, good bite. He has enough neck, with enough bone and high well plumed tail. He had an abundance of coat and rear movement at times was hard to assess. I would just prefer more body weight. |

He has a very good head and expression, with just the right amount of neck, good front with good ribbing and body. He has good bone, level topline good tail set, well angled rear. Moved well. His coat is a lovely length and is well presented. RCC |
| 2nd | Ch. Daltricia Jack Higgins JW ShCEX OSW | Another full mature male here today who was in excellent coat. He has a pleasing head and snooty expression. He has just the right amount of neck, is well bodied, but I felt his tail was a bit flat which spoilt his overall balanced outline. He just lost out on final move to the class winner. |

| 1st | Middletune Billy The Kid Under Misteltein | Smaller male here today, he was a very happy exhibit but needs more body. He has a nice expression, good tail set, but finer built throughout. |

| 1st | Shenleyvale Behind Orange Eyes | A very pretty 6.5 month girl here today who was full of personality. She is very feminine throughout, with a lovely head and expression, darkest of eyes, good stop and nose placement. She has a nicely arched neck, good front assembly, well ribbed and was in good body. Her rear is correct with a good tail. She has plenty of coat which was well presented and correct for her age. She was the best mover in the class showing full pads. In the challenge she outshone all the other females here today and pulled out all the stops. She was the best mover here keeping her shape with a good topline and tail set. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. I could not resist her and awarded her the CC and then BP. |

She did not have the overall balanced shape I was looking for. Moved well both ways. |

She has a lovely head and expression with good dark eyes which were well placed, broad head, nicely arched neck, good front assembly. She had good ribbing, firm loin and correct tail set. Her coat is maturing nicely. She moved well in front but I would prefer more drive from the rear. |
| 2nd | Shidizzle Bryamzy Sue at Maskeen | Another pale gold and white who did not have the balanced outline I was looking for and would have preferred just a little more length in loin. She had enough bone and substance and good tail set. Preferred the head and expression of the class winner. |

Moved he best in the class. Just outshone today by the youngster RCC. |
| 2nd | Jadetemple Jaci Higgins At Daltricia JW | Another pretty gold and white who was a pleasing shape, she was finer built throughout and today I thought her tail a bit flat. She had enough substance. She was in excellent coat which was well presented. She did not have the rear movement of the class winner. |

| 1st | Daltricia Jane Austen JW | 5 year old pale fawn and white girl at first glance was very well balanced in outline. She has a feminine head and expression with well set dark eyes, correct nose placement with good nostrils. She has just the right amount of neck, correct front assembly with just the right amount of bone. She is well bodied, firm topline, and good tail set. She has well angled rear. Again, she has an abundance of coat which detracted from her movement. She played up on the first out and back but on the final run off settled down to win the class. |

She is well made throughout, with a nice head and expression with large eyes, she has a good tail set. She has an excellent coat which was well presented and moved ok. |

| 1st | Ch. Paliden Bucks Fizz To Ekland JW | 8.5 year old dark gold with black mask. She is a nice shape and correct size. She is in great overall condition in both body and coat. She has good head proportions with a lovely expression. She has just the right amount of neck, good deep chest, correct topline and well muscled and angled rear. She is a very sound mover. Her coat is mature and was excellently presented. I can’t believe she is over 8 now as I remember judging her as a puppy! BV |
